The Pearl
Oh precious daughter of the moon
How does your heart conceal
So easily your finest pearl
And dare not to reveal
The beauty of the love therein
For here your treasure lies
So deftly hidden from the world
So cleverly disguised
But I am not a worldly man
Your treasure cannot hide
I hear it calling in the night
I feel it deep inside
No other treasure stirs me so
I wait for yours alone
In hope that you will share again
The finest pearl I’ve known
