Catherine was quite a sight
The beauty of the seas
The tightest ship from stem to stern
That ever kissed the breeze
The sailors came from every port
To glimpse her sultry lines
And dream of one day sailing her
Beneath the moonlit skies
The sailors made her happy
For they gave her room to boast
See Catherine had rarely ventured
Far beyond the coast
The breakers had protected her
From stormy winter gales
The waves had never broke her bow
Nor torn her lovely sails
But then one day a Piper came
And lulled her with his song
He climbed aboard and sailed her
Out to sea where she belonged
With all the world before them now
The Piper ends his tale
And Catherine’s still quite a sight
And quite a ship to sail
